Those paying attention to national news events are watching Tucker Carlson on Fox News.
The issues of the day – riots, demonstrations, the takeover in Seattle, the pulling down of monuments, are front and center.
Carlson’s commentary on the strife in America is setting all time records for ratings. More people are watching Tucker than anyone else.
The reason? It should be obvious.
He is speaking the truth. He is not pandering to anyone or any ideology. If people are offended by his view, take heart, he is an equal opportunity offender.
Carlson’s truth is truth. It’s objective truth. It’s his entire approach to reporting events. When people tell the truth, others will know what to think and do.
What’s happening?
Subjective truth appears to be winning. How people feel is the standard. Right and wrong are not important. Objective truth has no place in the discourse.
The argument makes it possible to say that right is wrong and that events such as riots, looting, destroying property, and murder are okay. If your ideals are congruent with the mob you’re good.
Some will call them mob rules.
What’s worse than being labeled a racist?
A passing thought, one with complete innocents, unspoken, unacted on is sufficient to earn the label.
The label is subjective, and it is destructive. Labels destroy lives. A real racist, a true racial bigot can be hard to find in America. To believe the new narrative however, is to believe everyone is a racist.
Courage, once a hallmark of a statesmen seems lost. The tactic of labeling patriots is working.
People know that when a lie is told often enough and loud enough, it becomes true. It is a subjective truth.
Leaders are surrendering to the pressure. Courage is evaporating. Elected officials deny objective truth and join the radicals for the sake of getting along.
Murder and other crimes are on the rise. Most of the victims are black. The victims are in cities thought to be progressive. Safe for like minded people, those wanting to be a part of the “movement”. They are black and they are dying at the hands of other citizens.
If the victims are black, where is BLM. Maybe only ‘some’ black lives matter.
It appears that the ‘greater good’ outweighs truth.
But even that’s a distraction. The leaders of the insurrection, BLM, and others, are anarchists. They are only interested in collapsing the United States and raising up a new model. They have said as much in interviews.
They are socialist. Marxists. Their idea of America resembles Cuba, or China, or Venezuela. A country they control will end the ideals of freedom and liberty.
What is the answer?
Courage… Courage from leaders on the right in the government. Those elected must not abandon the people. They need to do what’s right.
Leaders must find the courage to stand and defend the public from a radical takeover of our country.
Leaders have to stand up. Forget about labels. Stop worrying about image. Do what’s right. The left will never accept them no matter what they concede.
Those who do not agree with the dominant narrative coming from the left must demand courage from their leaders on the right.
The political figures now pandering to the left have lost their sense of duty. Their loyalty is with deep pocket corporate donors and their own desire to be liked. Courage has given way to convenience.
If anarchy, socialism, and a collapse of the economy is to be stopped, Republican leaders need to find courage. They must grow a spine and stand up for truth. Freedom and liberty demand it.
