Spiritual Warfare – Knowledge Of Good And Evil Is Healthy

I was having a conversation. We were talking about my book, Joyce – A Spiritual Warfare Novel. I was asked, “What is spiritual warfare?”

We continued our conversation. I answered the question. I explained what I thought it to be.

The Question Stuck With Me.

If one person is asking, who else wants to know. Who else is asking, “What is spiritual warfare?” Frankly, when I write stories, I assume everyone knows. I sort of take it for granted. Perhaps because it is familiar to me, I assume it is to others as well.

Spiritual warfare can be a weighty subject. I am not an expert. I’m not trained in scripture. I am not a preacher. I believe in the Bible. I believe what God has to say through His Apostle and Prophets. I believe there is good and evil. I believe there are angels and demons. I believe they go to war against one another.

Spiritual warfare is those moments when there is a fight between the two forces. A battle occurs.

I believe that the battles are most often fought in what is known as the second heaven. It is a spiritual realm. We know it is real because the Apostle Paul spoke of going to the third heaven. (2 Corinthians 12:2) If there is a third, there has to be a second. (And a first)

March For Life – A Time To Agree With God

While reflecting on March for Life 2022, I posted the graphic you see here along with the comment, “God is Pro-life”.

Think about that for a moment. God is Pro-Life. (!)

Of course He is. He is the creator of life. Those that choose to destroy life, for whatever reason, are doing what God detests. They oppose the Creator.

How do we know? Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder. NKJV

We know God is for life. We know that we, (mankind) are created in His image. He created man because of His love. What I want to do in this post is reflect on a few other things God is for.

What Do You Believe? Are You Hearing The Truth?

We must know what we believe. The questions are being asked over and over again. Is the government lying to me? Am I hearing the truth? Can I trust what they are doing?

At nearly every turn we see things that don’t make sense. We are locked down, wearing masks, and must be vaccinated to work. The question is important when we consider the tens of thousands crossing the southern border without any limitation. Those same people are secretly relocated into the heart of the nation.

Are the mandates in place because of the virus, or are we being brainwashed to blindly follow orders?

Consider the adverse reactions to the vaccine that are not reported publically. The data is available but any attempt to disclose the numbers is met with censorship.

The News Is Good, God Is Moving – Keep The Faith

Not long ago I heard a piece of advice. It would be a good idea for people to journal the current events in America and the world. In this time of covid, lockdowns, masks, and jabs, we should take notes. Make a record. Remember what is happening,

Remember the border. Remember that people are being rewarded for illegally entering the country.

It appears certain leaders are willfully attempting to destroy all that we know. Freedom is on the chopping block. Could you have imagined a time that citizens are held for nearly a year on trespassing charges disguised as insurrection?

Would you ever think our government could abandon U.S citizens and allies in Afghanistan? America simply pulled out, leaving them behind.

Not only did we leave people, but we also left advanced weapons valued in the billions for our former enemy to use against us. China, now allied with the Taliban, occupies the largest airbase in the region.

It is time to take notice. It is time to pay attention.

The prophets are speaking. What God is doing is not a mystery.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 KJV

God Is Moving Against The Wicked – Watch and Pray

In the King James Bible, Amos 3:7 says “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

Many will choose to mock the words of the prophets. Others will simply not believe. That will change when Heaven shakes what can be shaken. God will not be mocked.

As to the prophets, I listen to those I know. They seem to agree. God is speaking. While the details vary, I hear an overwhelming theme.

I believe the words of the prophets.

The greatest showdown in history occurred at Mount Carmel when Elihja the prophet challenged 450 prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah. He (Elihja) was mocked and scorned, even by other prophets of the Lord. It didn’t end well for those who did not stand with Elijah.

²¹And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. 1 Kings 18: 21 NKJV

‘Now I See’ – God’s Love In Action – Must Read

Like all who have read the true story, Now I See, I knew how it ended. The book cover says, A Mothers Memoir of Her Sons Miraculous Healing.

Vanessa Clark tells the whole story. The vital parts of how she came to be the woman of faith to believe God would heal her son. Telling her story brings hope to those who hear what God did for her infant son.

God healed him. He was blind but now he sees.

The consequences beyond the miracle healing, while certainly intentional, are important.

God Is Still In Control – Keep The Faith – Stand Strong

For many, myself included, it can be difficult to stand strong when moments of challenge stretch from days to months and even into years. It is easy to become disillusioned. It is easy to understand how faith might fade.

It is not a question of unbelief we experience, but the feeling of, ‘what’s the use’.

Praying, reading the word, listening to the prophets, watching, and waiting, are enough. Even when we don’t feel like it is, it’s enough. I had this scenario come up in my spirit Tuesday morning. It’s not prophetic. It is not a dream. It is an idea of the types of things God may be doing. The things we can not see.

We all would like to see the Red Sea open or a fireball hit the arch of Baal. But faith tells me God is moving. He is working in ways we know nothing about.

This is a fictional story. An idea of how God can work. What He may doing while we think He’s not doing anything.
