An Interview With Mechi Renee
I had a wonderful opportunity to be a guest of Mechi Renee and her podcast Doing Business With God. The interview, something we did several weeks ago, was a rare and wonderful treat. At least for me.
The subject of conversation was my latest book, Joyce – A Spiritual Warfare Novel.
I had a great time talking with her about a number of things. While she asked a lot of questions about me, I think the focus ultimately was on God. Considering the name of her podcast, that should not be a surprise to anyone.

I hope you can find the time to listen. You will hear about my efforts in writing Christian fiction. You’ll hear what motivates me, and the hope I have in drawing people to Christ with a good story.
The two books here, are police thrillers. Stories of ordinary men taking on the extraordinary task to fighting evil. The spiritual fight is against the powers and principalities of darkness, not of this world.
My efforts in Christian fiction is to entertain. I want the reader to be drawn to the characters. When it’s over, I pray those who don’t know Jesus will find the need to seek Him. As I told Mechi, my books are bait in the work of fishing for souls. Another line in the sea of humanity.
