Have You Been Saved By Grace or Living With Cheap Grace?

Do you know you’re saved? How do you know with absolute certainty, without any doubt whatsoever, that you will spend eternity in heaven with God? That you will miss the judgment and hell. That you will ‘dwell in the house of the Lord forever’.

Many evangelical Christians know the day they said the prayer. The time they finally accepted Jesus. But that is not the real question. Is it?

What was the real moment? When did you actually repent, ask for forgiveness for, (insert your confession), and turn away from sin, all sin? When did you actually begin to live the life that Christ desires of you… for all of us who are called by His name?

I read the piece by Michael Brown in The Stream. He writes about Pro-Life evangelicals who voted for Biden. They are feeling betrayed. Joe Biden lied to them.

It’s frustrating as an evangelical believer to see Christians climbing in bed with evil.

Voting for Biden believing he will change is lunacy. As Dr. Brown points out, Biden has a lifetime of supporting abortion. He lied. It’s who he is. The very nature of evil is to deceive.

Five Hundred pastors signed a letter denouncing Christian Nationalism. The letter accused Christians that support Donald Trump as white nationalist, racist and false witnesses for Christ.

The letter is founded on a lie. They believe the ‘insurrection’ on January 6th at the capitol were radicalized nationalist Christians. They still believe the false narrative that Donald Trump called the racists in Charlottesville ‘good people’.

American’s want to know where we’re headed. Many are not sure what to expect. The executive orders replacing the legislative process have millions afraid that government overreach will usurp the constitutional rights of the people.

Free speech is certainly under attack. Free expression of religion has a giant target painted on its back. School children are locked out of learning. The government, both state and federal are not done with their attack on liberty with Covid-19 as a cover.

The First Possibility

This is likely the least favorite of freedom-loving people. It is the best option for those wishing to eliminate freedom and choice.
