America is about to experience one of the most significant days in the history of the republic. The prayers of her people need to be heard in heaven.
Historic days in American history include General Washington crossing the Delaware River on Christmas day 1776 to engage and defeat the far superior British army in Trenton, New Jersey.
On the 2nd and 3rd of July in 1863, the Union army beat back a vicious attack from the confederate states of the south at Gettysburg. It ultimately led to the end of the civil war and the Union was preserved.
There is plenty to write about regarding the value of prayer in the above decisive war events but that is not the purpose today. Be assured that prayer is vital in preserving the Republic.
What Is about to happen in congress is equal in importance.
Regardless of what side of the aisle you may be on, the stakes can not be greater. The same can be said for the need to pray.
The stakes can not be greater.
I want to encourage everyone to pray for God’s will to be done. Pray that truth is revealed. Pray that regardless of what we want, God exposes everything. If there was fraud in the November 3rd election, that fraud is exposed.
If other countries have tried to influence our election, that needs to be exposed. If there has been money piped into the election to buy votes, that needs to be exposed.
America is unique in the world. We have free and fair elections. If they are lost, the nation is lost. If fraud or some other means has subverted the votes of the people, it will happen again. The Republic will cease to be the country we know and love.
Pray that we do not get angry but stand for righteousness in all circumstances. That means that righteousness prevails and lies, corruption, false witnesses are revealed.
That the light shines on the facts and shows all truth. That those in authority have the will to do what is right. That means doing what is right in the eyes of God.
Pray that those we have chosen to be leaders in government have the courage to stand. That integrity prevails in America.
We all have an opinion. We all have an idea of what is right. Righteousness means standing for what God expects. God’s will is done.
So pray. And then pray some more, Pray that truth prevails. That the rise or fall of the republic rests on truth and not on lies, cheating, fraud, or deception.
Then prepare yourself. There is likely going to be a great shaking. Whatever happens, people will be upset. Pray that peace prevails.
From where I sit, I think that what God could do in the next few days will be so dramatic, so powerful, that most will know and understand that God has spoken. When that day comes, expect a new Great Awakening. A revival like none of us has ever seen.
