Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed. Numbers 24: 9 does not end there but the point is an easy one to understand.
Those who believe God take Him at His word. They understand completely the message of this scripture.
The word comes from ancient days. It comes when the Israelites were still in the desert. They were in the land of Moab after fleeing Egypt.
Is it relevant in the 21st Century? It is absolutely relevant.
Believers understand God does not change, He is eternal and His word will never change. What was spoken by God in the desert more than three thousand years ago is just as true now as it was then.
For unbelievers it doesn’t matter. They deny truth simply because it’s not convenient. Reasons for not accepting the truth are everywhere.
Dr. James Dobson had an interesting guest on his podcast last year. Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the book The Oracle. The Rabbi, a messianic Jew speaks about his latest book.
In The Oracle he writes with incredible detail the dates, people, and circumstances of bible prophecy and the Jewish Jubilee of restoration. The return of the Jews to their homeland.
The link above is the third of three sessions Dr Dobson spent with Rabbi Cahn. He relates the facts of the restoration of the Jewish people to their homeland. Included are examples of blessing and cursing as cited in Numbers 24.
Included in The Oracle are the people who God used to fulfill what was written in ancient days. Rabbi Cahn relates that God uses who He chooses to bring about His purpose.
The author of The Oracle writes, “The secret that connects some of the most famous people of modern times to what took place in ancient times – even a modern president of the United States.

The story is written using seven doors. Behind each door, a seeker of truth learns who God uses and how God’s purposes are completed.
It may be the fifth door, focused on the Jewish Jubilee of 2017, that will capture the interest of many in contemporary America. Rabbi Cahn explains in amazing detail, the events leading to the fulfillment of God’s word.
In his interview Dr. Dobson asked, “Well, let’s link in to Donald Trump for a minute, there are Christians out there who say, “How in the world could a man with that kind of language and that kind of history with three families and so on, how could God use him?” but in fact He does, doesn’t He?”
The Rabbi answered, “How can God use Cyrus? How can God use Assyria? God always does.”
The fifth door of the book is powerful. Rabbi Cahn explains, it does not mean that President Trump was aware of the calling, he likely was not. What it does show is that Donald Trump, from birth, was a part of God ‘s providence to accomplish God’s goal of fulfilling the Jubilee of Restoration in 2017.
It required the President of The United States be open to moving the American embassy to Jerusalem.
The fifth door includes The President of The United States, Donald J Trump. The facts and details are almost beyond belief. But that’s what believers have come to expect from God. In The Oracle, Rabbi Cahn details the circumstances of how Donald Trump was used by God to fulfill prophecy.
But not only Trump is prominent in the fulfillment of Jubilee Restoration prophecy. The Rabbi also cites how Mark Twain was used in 1867. And President Harry Truman in 1947. Each year a Jubilee of Restoration
The people used to fulfill God’s work, may have multiple elements in their lives that have placed them in a place to be used as God desired. Willing or not God used them.
But there is one other point to consider. Numbers 24:9 Speaking of Israel, “May those who bless you be blessed, and those who curse you be cursed!”
The meaning is long settled. God blesses those who bless Israel. God curses those who curse Israel.
The Oracle chronicles the power of God. His use of miracles, world wars, and ordinary people, and even Presidents, to fulfill His Word of ancient times.
When the United States is no longer willing to stand with, and defend Israel, the hand of God, His protection, will be lifted from the United States. The curses the nation will suffer can be left to the imagination of the people.
The Oracle is a book readers will not forget. Nor should they. It changes lives. Life long believers find the impact difficult to describe. Non believing readers find they have a serious decision to make. A life changing decision. An eternal decision.
